Striving for harmony with nature, winemaker Pilar Higuero is uncompromising in her principles. She follows biodynamic practices in her 10 acres of vineyards planted at high elevation on granite soils just outside of Ribeiro by the Miño River. Obsessed with reducing her carbon footprint, she hand writes each label for her cuvée A Pita Cega. Biodiversity rules as the centenary vineyard is surrounded by violet flowers, vegetable gardens, orchards, pastures, and forests.
