Valldolina 'Ona', Penedès Rosat

The grapes for this 100% Marselan Rosé are hand harvested from Raimon Badell's estate in Alt Penedès, which is located entirely with the national protected area of the Massís del Garraf. The grapes are pressed and left in contact with the skins for several hours and fermented for 17 days in temperature-controlled, stainless steel 3,000-liter vats.

Marselan was first created in 1961 as a hybrid of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has the exuberant red fruit ripeness of Grenache and the elegant structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. It has been officially introduced in Bordeaux to combat climate change.

Ona is a reference to Núria's daughter, Ona!
