Alemany i Corrio, 'Pas Curtei'

The first vintage of the Pas Curtei came in 2003 with the intent to make the highest quality yet affordable Penedès wine possible. Made in a Bordeaux-style, this blend of Merlot, Carinyena and Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes an extended maceration of 15 - 20 days, then aged in barrels for 12 - 14 months before being bottled without fining nor filtration. 

The name Pas Curtei comes from the Catalan curtei, a type of fountain.
