Can'Leandro 'Les Finques'
"An homage to popular tradition, to territory, to family, to indigenous varieties, and to the farmers who know how to maintain them over time. A mix of popular wisdom and attitude. A mix of youth and age at the same time. What wine once was and what it will be. Without intention, there is no wine."
The fruit for Les Finques comes from 54 acres of different vineyards in the town of Ontinyent between the shady and sunny sides of the mountains, with different types of soil and orientations, and an average of 40 years old. Les Finques undergoes whole cluster fermentation for 15 days in 5000L stainless steel tanks, with light pumping over for aeration. The wine spends five months in 5000L concrete tanks. Bottled in March, Les Finques is subject to light filtration, without stabilization.
Bonicaire or Trepat [Tray-POT] is an indigenous red grape from Conca de Barberà. Traditionally used to produce light, fruity and pleasant rosé wines in both still and sparkling form.
